What
is MAC/LPN's mission?
The
Metropolitan Area Career/Life Planning Network (MAC/LPN) enhances
the professional and personal growth of career and life planning
professionals in the metropolitan Washington, DC, area by providing
stimulating educational programs and opportunities for exchanging
information and resources.
What
types of programs are offered?
Five programs are
offered each year on topics ranging from theory to hands-on applications.
Held at George Washington University's Marvin Center, sessions are
conducted in an informal and congenial atmosphere which encourages
interaction and provides ample time for networking. Events are typically
offered in October, December, February, April, and June, and usually
attract 50-80 participants. Program costs typically are $25 per
program.
Who
coordinates MAC/LPN?
The work is coordinated
by a Steering Committee which is open to all interested parties.
