What is MAC/LPN's mission?

The Metropolitan Area Career/Life Planning Network (MAC/LPN) enhances the professional and personal growth of career and life planning professionals in the metropolitan Washington, DC, area by providing stimulating educational programs and opportunities for exchanging information and resources.

What types of programs are offered?

Five programs are offered each year on topics ranging from theory to hands-on applications. Held at George Washington University's Marvin Center, sessions are conducted in an informal and congenial atmosphere which encourages interaction and provides ample time for networking. Events are typically offered in October, December, February, April, and June, and usually attract 50-80 participants. Program costs typically are $25 per program.

Who coordinates MAC/LPN?

The work is coordinated by a Steering Committee which is open to all interested parties.

"Participation in the Network offers career/life planning professionals the opportunity to 'practice what they preach' -- to network for personal and professional growth."

    -Bernadette Black, Founder MAC/LPN
